WOW Productions presents new original stage play this month

Ready, Set, Dye! Walking on Water (WOW) Productions is proudly preparing for the debut of its first collaboration piece following Confessions of a Good Man, titled Secrets in Plain Sight. This inner-city whodunit unfolds on the premises of the urbanite’s unofficial counselor’s office, the beauty salon and barbershop. The show will be staged Thursday, July 13th through Saturday, July 22nd at the WOW PAC (5816 Shakespeare Rd, Suite A, Columbia, SC 29223). Secrets in Plain Sight is written by Tangie Beaty, Donna Johnson and LeTasha Robinson. Robinson is an alumnus of WOW Productions’ New Playwright Series who had her first play, Ulterior Motives, produced by WOW in 2015. The new production will be directed by William Young IV. Audiences are used to seeing Young on stage, but with this show he will make his directorial debut with WOW. WOW Productions is constantly grooming and nurturing playwrights, directors and actors. The Company continuously supports and promotes hidden talent and original theatre within the Midlands. WOW has been nominated for the first time among Free Times Best of Columbia 2017 in two categories (Best Local Theatre and Best Local Theatre Production for Confessions of a Good Man). The public is able to vote for WOW Productions at www.free-times.com until June 30th.

Founded in 2005, Walking on Water (WOW) Productions is the Midlands’ premier inspirational theatre company and has the area’s first Urban Black Box Theatre.
