Women in Philanthropy 101 and Food for Thought , November 23

Women in Philanthropy member-investors, as well as those women considering becoming a part of Women in Philanthropy, are invited to the 2015-2016 WIP 101 and Food for Thought “Talk Back” – 2015 SC Floods: Moving from Relief to Recovery on Monday, November 23 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at SOCO in the Vista!

Learn about committee service opportunities in addition to volunteer service opportunities with WIP grantees. Hear from local leaders on the ground level of the flood relief and recovery efforts about the status of the community and how women can continue to volunteer during the recovery process. Guests invited and confirmed include Anita Floyd, United Way of the Midlands, Deborah Livingston, City of Columbia Department of Community Development and Rebecca Jordan, American Red Cross (invited).

Plus, we’ll have tasty bites made by a woman-owned business and beverages to compliment. This is a great chance to meet member-investors and leaders of Women in Philanthropy!

RSVP here. (Registration is FREE, but we ask that you please RSVP.)

Registration is free of charge and we ask that you consider making a donation to the United Way Flood Recovery Fund, 100% of which will be used for direct recovery efforts.
