Update on Solar Glasses from Richland Library

With less than a week until the total solar eclipse, the demand for solar glasses is high. Richland Library plans to have more solar glasses available to distribute at all of our locations starting at 9 a.m., Friday, August 18.

In an effort to make sure the maximum amount of people are able to experience this highly-anticipated cosmic event, we are distributing one pair of glasses per customer, and we are not able to accommodate group requests. In addition, we plan to hand out solar glasses throughout the entire weekend – while supplies last.
As always, please be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates on Richland Library.
The purchase of these solar glasses was made possible by Richland Library Friends. Since 1975, Richland Library Friends have been supporting the library through specifically-targeted advocacy efforts and raising financial support for programs.
