Temporary Cottage to Close at Richland Library St. Andrews

Columbia, SC– As construction progresses to the exterior property of Richland Library St. Andrews, Construction Dynamics Inc. has advised us to close the temporary cottage for the remainder of the project. Therefore, for the safety of staff and customers, all services at the temporary cottage are concluding at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 15.

While the temporary cottage is closed, limited holds pick-up is available from the current St. Andrews location (2916 Broad River Road) from April 17-21, and then shifting to the Richland Library Operations Center (130 Lancewood Road) on May 1. Hours of operation have yet to be determined, so please visit buildingyourlibrary.com for the latest service schedules.

For your convenience, you can also select an alternate pick-up location at any of our other facilities by visiting richlandlibrary.com.

Richland Library St. Andrews is expected to reopen in the fall. Customers can anticipate an enhanced garden and outdoor area, meeting rooms, and a dedicated teen engagement space.

The more than $4.5 million project was made possible by Richland County residents with the passage of a $59 million bond referendum back in November 2013.

For questions, please contact Emily Stoll at 803-587-3637 or email estoll@richlandlibrary.com.
