Students go ‘all in’ on summer reading

LEXINGTON — Students at Lake Murray Elementary left for summer break with a gift from Clemson University Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney.

Through the Dabo’s All In Team Foundation, first-graders received new books to encourage them to keep reading during the summer holiday. Swinney believes that reading for fun helps children become better readers.

According to the foundation, its mission is to raise awareness of critical education and health issues in order to change lives of people across the state of South Carolina.
