LEXINGTON, S.C. — Guided by the Energy Bus for Schools’ principle “Love Your Passengers,” students and staff at Rocky Creek Elementary decided to make a positive difference in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Students and staff collected items during the week of September 5 to do their part for hurricane relief.

As an Energy Bus School, RCES assigned items such as deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes to each grade level. In only four days, students and staff collected approximately 2,000 items.

RCES will send all donations in a care package to Houston via the American Red Cross.
