GILBERT — Gilbert Primary School students created award-winning artwork for a local contest. 
Prior to each year’s Lexington County Peach Festival, students from Gilbert-area schools are invited to submit original artwork. Winners receive an award and check from sponsoring business Michelin Tires. 
GPS winners this year include first-place artists Kindergartner Camila A. Sanchez-Zavala, First-Grader Jocelyn Evangelista-Ramos and Second-Grader Skyler K. Mathis. 
Second-place awards went to Kindergartner Jorge D. Arevalo-Machado, First-Grader Mary R. Oxner and Second-Grader Cooper D. Brock. 
Kindergartner Shylah R. Taylor, First-Grader Kaylin M. Quina and Second-Grader Andie R. Porth won third place. 
Artwork will be on display at GPS and Central Services.
