Palmetto Twist Vista will open its doors at 1225 Lincoln Street on Saturday, July 9th witha  grand opening event scheduled to run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. A boutique specializing in monogrammed items, Palmetto Twist will also offer a variety of gifts including apparel and accessories.

“We are proud to welcome Palmetto Twist as the newest member of the City of Columbia’s business community. With an exceptional line of great products and high quality service, this will be an excellent home grown addition to commerce in the Vista,” said City of Columbia Economic Development Director Ryan Coleman.

Owner and operator Haley H. LaMarche, is a former kindergarten teacher and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. “My father and brother own their own businesses. My sister actually owns a Palmetto Twist in Simpsonville, which is how the casual conversation started and here we are opening this week,” said LaMarche.“Our goal is to turn this store into a shopping staple of the Midlands and help turn the Vista into a premier shopping location. We want everyone that comes to the Vista to shop and eat, to think of Palmetto Twist as their preferred destination.”

LaMarche is excited about opening a business in the City of Columbia and says that “It is by far the friendliest capital city where everyone says ‘hi’ and smiles. From the first moment we went to the Vista and Main St. we felt very comfortable and relaxed. We’ve had the opportunity to move to Savannah, Charleston and Greenville, but we could not imagine relocating and missing out on all that this southern city has to offer for our growing family and business.”

Palmetto Twist Vista will be open Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Follow their progress on their social media pages, www.facebook.com/Palmetto-Twist-Vista and www.instagram.com/palmettotwistvista/.
