The North Columbia Business Association is getting into the holiday spirit this weekend with the North Columbia Pop Up Art Show and Sale.

Presented by Woodforest National Bank and the South Carolina Arts Commission’s ArtsGrowSC program, the pop-up show is an opportunity for residents and guests of North Columbia to peruse local art, enjoy live music, and do some holiday shopping that promotes local businesses.

ArtsGrowSC is a program designed to help grow and develop local arts-based business ventures.  Local artists will be on site displaying and selling their works, including three-dimensional paper artist Flavia Lovatelli of Art Ecologie, gentlemen’s fashion accessories maker Rusty Sox of Titanic Alley, Afrocentric home goods and accessories designer Sabrina Jeffcoat of the Royal African Company Ltd, and craft jewelry designer Tabitha Ott.

In addition to high-quality hand-crafted decorative and wearable art, this family-friendly community event will feature The Flat-Out Strangers, swing dancers, and other outdoor tented activities. Beverage and food trucks will sell treats to drink and eat.

The pop-up show will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at 3730 North Main Street, Ste. D, Columbia, SC, 29203.  The event is free and open to the public with onsite security and public facilities.
