New Providence Elementary welcomes 28 to Junior Beta Society

LEXINGTON, S.C. — New Providence Elementary proudly inducted 28 fifth-graders into a prestigious society this month.

NPES held its third annual National Junior Beta Society induction ceremony November 1 with an audience that included inductees’ family and friends. Students joining the school’s chapter must demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and extraordinary leadership abilities.

NPES’s club is a chapter of the National Beta Club, which offers activities for students beginning in fourth grade.
