New Locally-Owned McDonald’s Now Open on Bluff Rd.

The McDonald’s restaurant at 2015 Bluff Rd. & South Beltline Blvd. officially opened Friday, Dec. 16.

The restaurant is locally owned and operated by George Sensor, and is part of the new Love’s Travel located near Williams-Brice Stadium, easily accessible by I-77 off Exit 5.

Highlights of the new restaurant include a double lane drive-thru, modern décor, free Wi-Fi, and ample indoor seating. The McDonald’s will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We feel very fortunate to open this new restaurant in the Columbia area,” said owner George Sensor. “We are proud to be a part of the Carolina community and look forward to serving our neighbors for years to come.”

Sensor said he looks forward to the Bluff Road McDonald’s taking part in initiatives across the Midlands to support the local community; including continued commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia, SC, the military and local schools.

The restaurant will be hosting grand opening events in the coming New Year. Information on upcoming Grand Opening Events, specials, and restaurant news can be found on Twitter at @McD_Columbia.
