It’s going to be a soulful Saturday at the 2017 edition of St. Pat’s in Five Points.
Organizers unveiled the musical lineup for the annual festival Tuesday evening at Delaney’s, with local musicians providing entertainment before the announcement.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones, a six-piece soul band from Alabama which has gained national popularity, will headline the festival.
Country singer/songwriter Michael Ray, indie rock band Superchunk, and Southern rock favorites Drivin’ ‘n’ Cryin’ are the next billed acts, with more than a dozen local and regional acts set to perform on the festival’s stages.
St. Pat’s in Five Points, scheduled for March 18, is South Carolina’s largest St. Patrick’s Day festival, drawing more than 40,000 people to the Columbia hospitality district in 2016.
Tickets for the day-long event, open to all ages, are $15 in advance and $20 on March 18. More information and tickets are available at http://www.stpatscolumbia.
