MPA Strategies Expands; Welcomes Sarah Hammett

MPA Strategies is expanding, welcoming Sarah Hammett as the newest addition to their team. She will serve as the Director of Special Projects and will oversee all various healthcare initiatives, wellness programs, event planning, and social media of special projects.

“I hope that with my background in primary prevention and healthcare and my love of fitness, I can make a difference in our communities by helping citizens incorporate health and fitness into their everyday lives and empower them to get fit and stay healthy,” Hammett said. MPA Strategies is one of the few full-service public relations firms in South Carolina that also offers healthcare initiatives and wellness programs.

“Sarah’s background in healthcare combined with her passion for fitness and wellness will be a huge asset to our clients as we expand local government recreation and nutrition programs as a part of our list of services,” said MPA Chief Executive Officer Ashley Hunter.

Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Sarah graduated from North Carolina State university with a degree in Chemistry in 1997, followed by a BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MSN from Vanderbilt in 2006. She has an extensive background in healthcare and is a registered nurse practitioner. She enjoys all things fitness related, traveling, and spending time with her daughter and their dog, Spencer.
