The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA-SC) is thrilled to recognize NAIFA-Midlands member Bruce Pope for being awarded the Carroll H. Jones Award. The award was given at the Annual Presidents Dinner at the 2016 NAIFA Convention held in Greenville in June.
The Carroll H. Jones Award honors the outstanding active agent or financial advisor of the year in South Carolina who has served and continues to serve the association, the industry, and the community with distinction. Bruce was previously awarded the NAIFA Quality Award in 2012 & 2015.
Since 1988, Bruce has worked as a Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual in Columbia, SC and currently serves as the Advisor Political Involvement Committee (APIC) chair for NAIFA-SC. He focuses on retirement planning, business owners and entrepreneurs, and financial planning for the future. Bruce received a B.S. in Rick Management & Insurance from Florida State, and continued his education in the field by attending the Leadership in Life Institute this year. In 2008, Bruce joined the Indian Waters Council of Boy Scouts of America and has led a group of boy scouts to Eagle status. Bruce is also active with the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, GraceChurch of Columbia, and is a founding board member for Learning Ally (Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic). Bruce currently resides in Columbia, SC with his family.
