LRADAC, the Project CARE Coalition, MADD South Carolina, and Richland School District Two’s Parent Institute are hosting a Dinner and Dialogue event on Thursday June 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to teach families about effective communication tools to help facilitate healthy family dialogue about youth substance use.
Families in attendance will hear from experts about youth substance use, participate in MADD’s Power of Parents and Power of Youth trainings, and share experiences on communicating with youth and teens about alcohol and drug use. Parents will also take home a recipe book and written sample conversations starters to use at home.
The event will take place at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation at 763 Fashion Drive in Columbia. Families interested in attending the event can register at careconnectsdd.eventbrite.com.
