Love, Peace & Hip Hop Announces Headliner For 5th Annual Family Day

Columbia, SC (February 6, 2017) – This Thursday, February 9, 2017, Love, Peace & Hip-Hopinvites the community to Wired Goat in the Vista for the headliner announcement for this year’s fifth annual World Famous Hip Hop-Family Day.

Come grab a beer and a bite, and be among the first to find out who Love, Peace, & Hip-Hop is bringing to the stage on Columbia’s Main Street this April 8. Past acts have included KRS-One, Bigg Gipp, Slick Rick, Kool Moe Dee, Monie Love, and Nice & Smooth.

Why:              Established in 2013, Love, Peace & Hip Hop’s World Famous Hip Hop Family   Day returns for its fifth year, bringing the amazingly creative art form hip-hop to Main Street through hands-on art exhibits, educational activities, live music, dance performances, and more. In addition to food, fun, and music, Love Peace & Hip-Hop annually donates all soft drink and water proceeds to two non-profit organizations that offer direct services to the community.

About Love Peace & Hip-Hop:

The goal of World Famous Hip-Hop Family Day is to ensure that hip-hop, represented properly, can be a medium through which the community can come together, all ages and races, for a day of peace, love, and unity, and having fun. This is accomplished by combining some of the best and brightest live performers, DJs, B-Boy dance crews, hip-hop visual artists, and craft and fashion vendors to create South Carolina’s most unique and entertaining community experience.
