LMES Fourth-Grader Scores 99 Percent on Typing Assessment

LEXINGTON, S.C. — During this week’s Lake Murray Live! news show at Lake Murray Elementary, one student received a certificate for a near-perfect score.

On Monday, February 6, 2017, LMES Assistant Principal Leisa F. Clamp presented Fourth-Grader JoAnn Samuelyn Siebo with a certificate recognizing her work on the Typing.com program.

In addition to being the first student at the school to complete the keyboarding program, Siebo scored an average accuracy score of 99 percent for the 45 lessons.

Typing.com is used by third through fifth grade at LMES and more than 14 million students and 250,000 teachers nationwide.
