We know that children who are homeless fall behind in school at an alarming rate. Yet studies show eight out of 10 at-risk or homeless families who receive support only need it once.
It’s a compelling argument for the value of the work going on daily at St. Lawrence Place. As part of the Homeless No More continuum of services, St. Lawrence Place serves families who need stabilizationwith a 30-home community that offers support services, life skills training and up to two years of transitional housing.
Join St. Lawrence Place at the Rockbridge Club in Forest Acres on Saturday, for the annual Oyster Roast fundraiser.
The event will feature live music from The Mustache Brothers, oysters, drinks, and Doc’s mouthwatering, authentic southern barbecue! And sports fans need not worry. The University of South Carolina and the Clemson football games will both be on at the Oyster Roast!
Tickets are only $40, available online or at the door, and all proceeds will go to the programs of St. Lawrence Place.
The goal is to end family homelessness in the Midlands.
