Arts groups from around the Midlands join together in a night honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Local artists will capture the spirit of Dr. King and his legendary words through poetry, dance, song, and music, including performances from:

Audry Harris, violinist
Mother to Child Storytime
Columbia Children’s Community Choir
Regina Skeeters, singer
Resonance Quartet
Mr. Emotional the Poet
Palmetto Blue, bluegrass band
Columbia City Ballet soloist
Melvin Crispell, singer
Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, singer
Terence Young Jazz Band

High School Combined Choir featuring: Richland North-East, Ridgeview, Blythewood, Spring Valley, Dreher, CA Johnson, Eau Claire, Westwood, and Lower Richland high schools

Carolina Collegiate Super Choir featuring: University of South Carolina, Benedict College, Claflin College, SC State, Allen University, and Columbia College

Tickets cost $10 for students, faculty, staff and the public. They can be purchased online or in-person at Koger Center for the Arts Box Office. Free parking will be available in four university parking lots:

FS11 on the corner of Lincoln Street and College Street
FS4 on Gadsden Street between Greene Street and Devine Street
AD3 and GS4 on Gadsden Street between Devine Street and Blossom Street
