Richland County Library
Computer Access & Social Worker Assistance Available to Customers
Are you in need of local affordable housing? Richland Library is looking to assist with the anticipated volume of customers when the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) opens its waiting lists for four sections – the public housing select list, the public housing standard list, the Cayce Housing Authority and the Eastover Housing Complex – March 21.
Starting at 9 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, our Main location (1431 Assembly Street) is opening its computer lab inside the Business, Careers and Research classroom on the Third Level because customers are required to submit their applications online by visiting the CHA’s website.
In addition, Richland Library social workers are available to provide one-on-one assistance and to guide customers through the application process.
The deadline to submit applications is 12 p.m., Friday, March 24. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you have further questions, please contact Richland Library Social Work Outreach Program Coordinator Lee Patterson at 803-231-6383 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
