The Lexington County Museum will host the 8th Annual Haunted History Halloween program at 231 Fox Street in Lexington this year.
As ghoulish guides lead you on a spooky journey of the museum property, you will hear ghostly stories, including strange and unusual events in Lexington County’s antebellum and Civil War history. Guests will learn about 19th century medical remedies and meet memorable specters along the way. Watch out for frights and surprises around every corner!
Tours are Thursday Oct. 16 and Friday Oct. 17 at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes). Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12. Founded in 1970, the Lexington County Museum has thirty-six historic structures located on seven acres in downtown Lexington. With its extensive collection, the museum interprets everyday life in the county from 1770 to the start of the Civil War.
