Date Set for Richland Library Farmers Market at R2i2

Enjoy an added perk during your next visit to the library: not only can you grab fresh picks, but you may also select some fresh produce from the Richland Library Farmers Market at R2i2 (763 Fashion Drive), starting March 5.

Join us from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. each Monday in the joint facility’s common space, located to the right of the doors to our Sandhills location. You can choose from seasonal fruits and vegetables from Livingston Farms as well as handmade, chemical-free skin products from This Butter Be Good.

The library staff members are exploring additional vendors and a collaboration to highlight the talents of students at R2i2 through avenues like cooking demonstrations. Be sure to follow richlandlibrary.com for the latest updates.

The Richland Library Farmers Market at R2i2 is an expansion of the pilot program that launched at the Main location (1431 Assembly Street) in November 2017. It’s made possible, thanks to partnerships with End Child Hunger SC and Richland School District Two.
Richland Library is a vibrant, contemporary organization that provides resources and information that advance the Midlands. Offering state-of-the-art technology, a variety of literary and cultural programs and 11 bustling facilities located throughout the county, Richland Library offers a truly customizable, modern library experience for residents and visitors alike.
