Cozy up Your Collection at the Richland Library Friends’ Winter Book Sale

Local residents have two opportunities to peruse tens of thousands of gently-used books, CDs and DVDs at the Richland Library Operations Center (130 Lancewood Road).

  • There is a private sale for library donors from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, January 26. A minimum, yearly donation of $25 is required to attend. Donations can be made at the door.
  • The public Richland Library Friends’ Winter Book Sale is in full swing from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, January 27. Prices for paperbacks start at $1 and $2 for hardbacks.

Materials are available in all genres for adults, teens and children. It’s a chance to get your hands on some great deals and rare finds while adding to your book, music and movie collections.

The Richland Library Friends host four books sales a year – winter, spring, summer and fall – as well as some specialty or half-priced sales. Combined, these events raise about $80,000 a year to support the library. That money goes directly back to local residents through programs and services not covered by Richland Library’s tax appropriation.
