Columbia Sertoma Club Invites Football Fans to 10th Annual Tailgate Party

The Columbia Sertoma Club invites everyone interested in football and local charities to come out to The Coop (1100 Key Road in Columbia, next to Williams-Brice Stadium) Saturday for its 10th annual Tailgate Party, presented by Wells Fargo Advisors.

The event’s purpose is to raise money to support local nonprofits. Since 1950 the Sertoma Club has supported approximately 100 local groups and raised more than $4 million. The event is always a great opportunity to have fun while doing good.

Highlights of the tailgate party include four BBQ chefs serving food and competing for first place, all you can eat grits, the USC/Mississippi State football game on big screen televisions, an open bar with top shelf drinks, a corn hole tournament, music and other entertainment and door prizes from local businesses.

All you can eat and drink plus all the entertainment is included with the price of a ticket. Tickets are $30 or two for $50 and are available online. The party starts at 4 p.m., and more information on the event and the Sertoma Club’s work to help local charities is available here.
