Columbia Open Studios presented by 701 Center for Contemporary Art to be on April 7–8, 2018

Columbia Open Studios (April 7-8, 2018) is a free, self-guided, artist studio tour across the city of Columbia and Richland and Lexington counties. During the eighth annual, weekend-long tour, 70 local artists will open their studios for the public to view their work and workspaces.

Presented by the nonprofit 701 Center for Contemporary Art (701 CCA), Columbia Open Studios allows thousands of attendees to explore the tools, techniques and inspirations behind the work of local artists. Residents and visitors tour studios at their own pace for the rare opportunity to catch a behind the scenes look at up to 70 artists in their private studio space. Artist keeps 100% of sales.

The event will be on Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, 12–6 p.m.

Columbia Open Studios spans the City of Columbia and Richland and Lexington Counties.

Pick up a printed tour guide with maps and full artist list at 701 CCA, around local Columbia businesses or inside the April 4 edition of Free Times.
