We will also learn about Arthur Towne and of President Jimmy Carter’sinvolvement in that project. Host speakers for this celebration will be Sonya R. Hodges Grantham and Robin Foster.
Sonya R. Hodges Grantham; a mother, grandmother, presenter, preservationist and author among many things has put together aninteresting afternoon of storytelling, scavenger hunts, a broom corn sweeping contest, heritage foods, old African American folk songs and more.
