The Town of Lexington is proud and honored to be the host of the 2014 Dixie Youth World Series. Lexington Dixie Baseball program organizers, Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission and the entire community has worked tirelessly to ensure we provide participants the best experience possible at this year¹s event.

We ask that you welcome our guests with open arms as they explore all Lexington has to offer. In addition to the teams, coaches and families spending time at the Ball Park Road Sports Complex, we  invite them to utilize our beautiful amenities such as our local parks system – whether fishing at Gibson Pond Park, walking the trail at Virginia Hylton Park or climbing the playground equipment at Corley St Park or Caractor Park, we have something for everyone.

The Town of Lexington also has a strong historical background and we encourage our guests to visit our downtown Main St. and engage in our past at the Lexington County Museum. We are also the proud home of Lake Murray, with 500 miles of shoreline, it is a great place to wind down after the weeklong competition.

Dixie Youth Baseball and the World Series bring a wonderful delegation to the region and a positive

impact on our community¹s economic development.

Town Council and I send best wishes to all the teams and look forward to hosting again in 2015!
