8th Annual Long’s Bar Stool Classic in Five Points

The Five Points Association and the Babcock Center Foundation will be hosting the 8th Annual Long’s Bar Stool Classic throughout Five Points bars and restaurants, starting at 5 p.m. on August 26th, 2016. The Long’s Bar Stool Classic is an 8 hole putt-putt bar crawl with proceeds benefiting the Babcock Center Foundation.

The Long’s Bar Stool Classic is a self-guided tour and golfers are encouraged to take advantage of food and drinks specials while playing at each bar or restaurant. Golfers may also be eligible for the “Second Chance Hole” at Jake’s if they can produce a food receipt from one of the seven stops in the crawl, restrictions apply and will be presented at the time of registration. The winner receives a cash prize of $500 and other prizes will be awarded for second and third place, along with best dressed and hole-in-one golfers. The official after-party will be at Jake’s (2112 Devine Street) and will feature live music from Waccamaw.

Golfers may pre-register for $15 on the Five Points Association website up until August 23rd. Day of registration will be $20 and is not guaranteed, as the tour may sell out.

Tour Timeline:
The tour begins at 5pm at the Five Points fountain. Participants will receive registration packets and special goodies including an official tour t-shirt, tour card with a map, an official private after-party invitation, special prizes and more. At 10pm, the $500 first place winner and all other prizes will be awarded. Must be present to win.
