43rd Lexington Medical Center Irmo Okra Strut Festival Will Take Place Today and Tomorrow

Who: FREE, two-day festival, complete with carnival rides, arts, crafts, food and drink concessions as well as an okra eating contest.

What: 43rd Lexington Medical Center Irmo Okra Strut Festival

When: Friday, September 23rd, gates open @ 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 24th, gates open at 9 a.m.

Where: Irmo Community Park, 7507 Eastview Drive, Irmo, S.C.

Live Music: The Blue Pickups, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Terrence Young Experience, and the Freeway Music Showcase. There is no admission price to enter the festival however individual fees do apply for rides, amusements and concessions. Friday will feature a Ride all Night for the cost of a $15 wristband. Free parking will be provided with shuttle rides to and from the festival.
