14th Annual Black History Parade and Festival

Celebrate Black History Month at the 14th Annual Karamu Statewide Black History Parade and Festival. This year’s parade grand marshal is former state Representative Bakari Sellers.The festival will include exhibitors, vendors and live entertainment. Musical acts include the 69 Boyz, Marcus Hawkins, Salil Myers, Tiffany J and Musical Solutions.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. The parade will kick off at 12 p.m. at the corner of Harden and Gervais streets and will travel south on Harden Street, ending at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park located at 2300 Greene St. he Black History Festival will begin at 1:15 p.m. at the park.

The event is free and open to the public.
